Eyes, Lies and Illusion
Ann Veronica Janssens installations depict spatial abstractions - working with how light and space coexist, illuminating spaces by projecting light to work with visitor's perception.
'Aquarium' - a perfect floating sphere reflecting both the viewer and the surrounding space.
Ann Veronica Janssens work was shown at the Hayward gallery in Eyes, Lies and Illusion exhibition, 2005.

Unpredictable Abstracts
Keith Tyson - 'Nature Paintings' - mixed media on aluminium.
Turner Prize winner mixes chemicals with paint, pours onto aluminium, freezes, and this is the result: an exploration of chance, beauty and wonderful colour combinations.

Your 'Walls Are Talking'
and they were louder than ever - an inspirational exhibition about wallpaper, art and culture, a collaboration between the Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester, and the V&A Museum, London. 6th February - 30th August 2010.
Wallpaper was transformed into contemporary art pieces and was no longer a "quiet background for your home". Perspective was collective, enabling what appeared to be traditional patterns to reveal themselves as something quite different upon closer inspection.
With artists such as Andy Warhol, Sarah Lucas and Damien Hirst involved, the exhibition provided "a timely exploration of the possibilities and power of print."

DARK SIDE OF THE LENS

The Beginning
It is the beginning of my third year in Print, Textile Design at Central Saint Martins and the beginning of a new project.
Initial ideas are those of aquatic illusions, William Morris/ Art Nouveau aesthetic and patterned perceptions.
Perspective and distortion are key elements, with traditional influences deviating attention away from the oceanic theme.
