Almost Invisible Installations

Katie Barton uses the cobweb to signify the "glassy, silent and delicate contrasted with the frantic yet structured" day in London life.

The beautiful, yet almost invisible structures of the cobweb offer the idea of natural layering and growth, which combined with Katies mixed media and material techniques created very interesting installation artworks for the Craft London exhibition

"A space is defined as a three-dimensional expanse, which through the analysis of its defining characteristics; architecture, history and use, can be transformed into a visually stimulating environment."
